This book, Volume I, includes letters 1-100 written by George Fox. In them Fox writes of his passionate love of God and Christ the Light. He describes how we may live the life of a pacifist. But we may always, if necessary, confront our persecutors. He tells us how to marry in the manner of Friends; he tells us how to to be Quaker Christians.
